Both Toquilla & Spondylus Expeditions are designed for 8 days / 7 nights, with various itineraries to explore and get connected with the beauty of Ecuadorian nature and culture. Travel aboard the yacht Wayra to remote locations and unique scenery, giving you a chance to interact with new surroundings along the American coast.

Kontiki Wayra is the first boutique yacht to operate in coastal Ecuador. She is 128 ft or 40 m,  long and counts 9 luxury staterooms with maximum capacity for 18 people. It was manufactured in 2011 and it is currently undergoing remodeling.  

All expeditions and private charters count with 12 experienced crewmembers that include: 

2 expert guides, 1 concierge, 1 captain, 2 chefs, 1 wellness specialist, 1 bartender, 1 waiter and 

3 people in charge of housekeeping and maintenance.

Kontiki offers 2 spectacular expeditions! The Toquilla expedition navigates our northern route and Spondylus expedition navigates the southern route. 

They are both 8 days / 7nights and depart every Sunday from Manta and Guayaquil respectively.

• All land and sea expeditions led by our two expert   naturalist guides, daily briefings about the excursions, tips   and other valuable information.

• All facilities on board: Jacuzzi, fitness center, sunbeds, and   beach towels.

• Kontiki shuttle from hotel to port of Manta or Guayaquil for   check in and boarding.

• Internal transfer from Quito to the port of Manta or         Guayaquil.

• Hotel accommodation the night before the expedition in   Manta, Quito or Guayaquil. However, we can assist with   information, selection and reservation of 5 star properties.

• Fine wine and spirits, available on demand at a cost.

• Pre and Post experiences/stays are not included, but we   can gladly assist with information, selection and reservation   at partner properties in Ecuador, including Galapagos and   neighboring countries.
